A handful of Denton artists won big at the second annual Dallas Entertainment Awards on January 29. The awards, held at The Factory in Dallas, work to highlight artistic expression across DFW, Denton included.

Denton band the Wee-Beasties secured the win in Best Punk Act, while Gracen Wynn took home both Best Pop Song for “Stop the Car” and Best Pop Act. Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studios beat out several Dallas music venues for Best Music Venue in the over 301-1,000 capacity category.
