Blake Lively is not simply Ryan Reynolds’ wife.

During the FX documentary series Welcome to Wrexham, which featured Deadpool, the Red star had a very joyful weekend after winning numerous awards at the 2023 Creative Arts Emmys on January 7.

Ryan celebrated by posting a humorous snapshot of himself with his wife Blake Lively on Instagram Stories, captioned “photo: my instagram boyfriend.”

Ryan is pictured in a three-piece suit, cosy house slippers, and, most importantly, carrying his Deadpool helmet.

“F–k it. They won’t see below the waist,” he wrote, referring to the slippers.

Blake, the “Instagram boyfriend” in question, can be seen beaming when her reflection appears in the mirror behind her hubby.

Blake has already been referred to as the Instagram boyfriend, and this is unlikely to be the last time.

Blake and Ryan are no strangers to poking fun of one another on social media; they have three kids, James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4, as well as a fourth child, whose birth they announced in February 2023.

Wrexham won five Emmys for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Programme, sound mixing, directing, editing, and cinematography.

Ryan and actor Rob McElhenney, executive producers of the docuseries, are also co-owners of Wrexham A.F.C., a Welsh football team.

The two then uploaded an Instagram video of Ryan, dressed as Deadpool, interrupting Rob’s acceptance speech for the award.
