Ryan Reynolds wished his friend and co-owner of the Wrexham football club, Rob McElhenney, a happy birthday and sent him a special song.

The 46-year-old Deadpool actor, whose football team, Wrexham, won a very important game on Monday, has been in the news for his crazy behavior, shared a funny birthday message for McElhenney that made the internet go crazy.

Reynolds used his birthday as a chance to teach his fans how to say “McElhenney,” and the results are hilarious.

The Free Guy posted the video to Twitter, saying, “A birthday card might’ve been easier. Happy birthday @RMcElhenney.”

McElhenney’s wife, co-star Kaitlin Olson, and cast members Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton also came to the tribute. It was filled with some of McElhenney’s most outrageous moments on the show.

Reynolds added, “Would be a real shame if this became a @wrexham_afc Racecourse chant.”

Wrexham FC was bought by Reynolds and McElhenney in 2022.
