Sabrina Carpenter Just Admitted That She Doesn’t Like One Of Her Most Iconic Lyrics After She Spotted A Completely Accidental Mistake That Fans Thought Was Intentional This Whole Time

Sabrina Carpenter Reveals Jarring Error In “Nonsense”

When Sabrina Carpenter kicked off her Emails I Can’t Send tour in 2022, she shined a spotlight on one track in particular: “Nonsense.”

As a result, it’s fair to say that “Nonsense” is one of Sabrina’s most iconic songs to date. However, she recently admitted that she has only just noticed an error in her lyrics that seriously bothers her.

“You know what I realized in hindsight two years later that I don’t like about this lyric?” she then asked. “I say ‘pop’ twice. Not my favorite. I didn’t catch it until way after the fact, I was like: ‘Ugh!’”

However, the overwhelming consensus from Sabrina’s fans was that they thought that the repetition was the whole point of the lyrics as they expressed their disbelief that she hadn’t picked up on it sooner.

Since “Nonsense,” Sabrina’s quirky lyrics have become a pretty established part of her brand, and are particularly showcased in her summer hit “Espresso,” which repeats: “That’s that me, espresso.”
