SAG-AFTRA Strike Affects SDCC ‘Dune Part Two’ Panel

Due to the current SAG-AFTRA strike, the much-anticipated Dune: Part Two panel will not be at the next San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC).

Legendary Entertainment was supposed to have talks for both Dune: Part Two and Monsterverse in Hall H, but those plans had to be changed.

Fans were hoping that director Denis Villeneuve and some of the cast would show up, so this news is a letdown for them. Also, the strike could affect when Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, which is part of the Monsterverse series, comes out.

Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, and other cast members from Dune: Part Two will not be at SDCC. As of this writing, there has been no official confirmation from Legendary’s Twitter account, but fans and the marketing of the highly anticipated sequel will miss them.

Florence Pugh, who is joining the group as Princess Irulan, is also not likely to go to Comic-Con because she walked out of the London premiere of Oppenheimer to show her support for the strike.

Even though there is a strike, Dune: Part Two is still exciting because of its well-known cast and the new characters, like Austin Butler as Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen.
