Salesforce is the most recent company to announce plans to integrate ChatGPT into their software solution. Tuesday, the company debuted Einstein GPT, a customer relationship management (CRM) platform that leverages generative AI to generate content for its commercial offerings.
Salesforce emphasized, as an example, the capacity to generate customized emails for salespeople and advertising material for marketers, although uses can vary substantially depending on the business.
“The emergence of real-time technologies and generative artificial intelligence has ushered in a period of unprecedented technological change,” CEO Marc Benioff stated in a news release: This occurs at a critical time when every business focuses on connecting with customers in more intelligent, automated, and individualized ways.
The partnership is a large-scale test case for OpenAI’s technologies.
Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, stated, “We’re pleased to apply the strength of OpenAI’s technology to the CRM industry.” This will allow more people to benefit from this technology and help us learn more about real-world usage, which is crucial for the responsible development and deployment of artificial intelligence – a viewpoint Salesforce shares with us.
Some Salesforce users are eager to experience its benefits. “Incorporating AI into our CRM has resulted in enormous operational efficiencies for our advisors and clients,” Greg Beltzer, the head of IT at RBC US Wealth Management, stated.
