Salida Arts & Culture Creative District Leads ArtWalk 2024 and Change of Date

With the goal of helping sustain this beloved event for our community, the Salida Arts & Culture Creative District will serve as lead coordinator for ArtWalk 2024. In addition, the date for the three-day festival is moving to October 11, 12, and 13.

In the past, ArtWalk has traditionally been volunteer run and has immediately followed FIBArk weekend. After much dialogue with Salida Council for the Arts, volunteers, artists, and other stakeholders, Arts and Culture will help address issues around sustainability, staffing, and the time of year. The Arts & Culture team is dedicated to preserving the valuable traditions of the past 30 years, as well as stepping in to help
where needed by providing coordination, resources, and quality programming to help preserve this beloved event for years to come.

Thank you to the legacy of volunteers from years past that have helped keep Salida ArtWalk afloat. Thank you also to the Salida Council for the Arts Board who will manage this year’s Mini Masterpieces.
