Sam Asghari responds to Britney Spears after memoir release: I hope she takes over the world

Britney Spears recently released her memoir, titled “The Woman In Me,” where she remembered her now-separated husband, Sam Asghari. In the book, she affectionately referred to Asghari as a “gift from God.” This sentiment was expressed before Asghari filed for divorce in August.

Despite their romantic relationship ending, Asghari continues to demonstrate unwavering support for Britney and has embraced the kind words she dedicated to him in her memoir.

At an event in Los Angeles, he openly discussed Britney‘s book, expressing tremendous pride in her success and wishing her continued empowerment and world-conquering.

“I’m freaking proud,” he noted “I hope she takes over the world.”

His remarks reflect the enduring respect and mutual admiration they share, even after their break-up. It underscores that their relationship remains amicable and supportive.

Love at first sight

Spears recalls instantly falling in love with Asghari when they first met in October 2016 on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video. She described the initial chemistry between them as intense, and they couldn’t keep their hands off each other.

In June 2022, Spears and Asghari tied the knot at her California home, but their marriage lasted just 14 months before they split up. Despite this separation, Sam‘s supportive words and Britney‘s warm sentiments in her memoir show that they continue to share a bond built on affection and mutual respect.
