At CES 2025 in January, Samsung Display plans to set up an exhibition space where attendees can experience this new vehicle experience first-hand.
“If a car manufacturer that has adopted Samsung OLED introduces Dolby Vision, the implementation process will be simplified and the evaluation period will be greatly shortened,” said Yong-seok Choi, Executive Director of Sales at Samsung Display. “Through this collaboration, Samsung will solidify its technical leadership in the automotive display market and set new standards for display quality.”
“Cars have shifted from solely being a means of transportation to also being an environment where passengers can experience high-quality immersive entertainment,” said Andreas Ehret, Senior Director of Automotive Business at Dolby Laboratories. “We are delighted to work with Samsung Display to bring entertainment in Dolby Vision on industry-leading OLED displays to consumers on the road.”
