Legendary Southtown house gallery Sala Diaz has hosted some of the city’s most significant and interesting art shows, performances and happenings in its decades-long existence. It’s perhaps the quintessential San Antonio art hub — welcoming and unpretentious but frequently daringly creative.

Keeping with that focus, Sala Diaz this Saturday will present “Phantoms After Dark: An Evening of Performance & Film,” an evening of twisted and transgressive short films and performances by some of the most interesting and outré artists in town.
