Sanjay Jaju, the Secretary of India’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, visited Tennis Channel to talk about the upcoming World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) coming to India this February.

Jaju talked about the importance for broadcast, content and media leaders from around the globe to meet and discuss the future of the way content is distributed.

“There’s a lot of activity going on in our country in the media and entertainment space. We thought it would be the right time for us to mount an event, which could be a convergence event, to invite all the leaders of the media and entertainment industry,” Jaju said.

WAVES will take place at the Bharat Mandapam Convention Center, in New Delhi, India, from February 5th, to February 9th.
