Sarah Ferguson Sold Queen Elizabeth’s Gift to Her Granddaughters

Queen Elizabeth gave her granddaughters Eugenie and Beatrice a gift, but their mother, Sarah Ferguson, had to sell it because they needed money.

Express.co.uk says that Sarah sold a luxurious house that Queen Elizabeth had given to Sarah’s daughters Eugenie and Beatrice.

The late Queen bought Birch Hall in Surrey for her granddaughters to use when they were older. At the time, they were only nine and seven years old.

The Duchess of York sold the house because she said she couldn’t afford to keep it up, according to the Daily Mail.

The house was sold for £1.5 million after it had been empty for two years. The money went into a trust fund for Beatrice and Eugenie to use when they are older.

The newspaper quoted estate managers who said that it had been sold because of a “change in circumstances.” In 2016, the house was sold again for a cool £4.2million.

Prince William and Prince Harry also got houses from Queen Elizabeth on their wedding days.
