Sarah Ferguson, the former spouse of Prince Andrew, has been bestowed with an unanticipated present for the royal residence shared with her and the prince.
Reportedly, upon her return from Canada, the Duchess of York will bring a new addition to Royal Lodge, where she and the late Queen’s cherished Corgis reside.
On Monday, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s mother attended a luncheon at the National Golf Club of Canada in Woodbridge, where a piecing of royal residence artwork was presented to her.
“Beautiful lunch spent with the Duchess of York – @sarahferguson15 today and presenting her with a custom painting commissioned by @richard.dolan,” wrote the illustrator.
“Very grateful for opportunities like this. It’s an honour to know that my artwork is alongside a beautiful collection with the Royal Family,” he continued.
Ferguson, better known by her stage name Fergie, recently exclaimed with delight over some wonderful news concerning a cherished family member, stating, “She is my golden niece whom I love so much. I’m devoted to lovely Ben and Heidi.”
The daughter of Heidi Luedecke and Jane Ferguson, her older sibling, became engaged. It is planned that the 27-year-old will wed art consultant Ben Collinson.
The Duchess and the disgraced Duke of York have continued to reside at Royal Lodge, which was leased to the Duke of York in 2004 subsequent to the Queen Mother’s demise, despite their 1996 divorce from Prince Andrew.
