Saucony Champions The Keith Haring Legacy On New Lifestyle Collection

Keith Haring’s legacy is undeniable, sprouting during his lifetime from a street art doodle series to an international movement and only growing in purchase after his passing. In our realm, plenty of major footwear brands have taken notice of that influence, with Crocs, Reebok, Converse, and adidas each planting the NYC multi-hyphenate’s iconic stick figure designs onto their staple shoes. Now, one more is throwing their hat into the ring, as Saucony spotlights an unorthodox connection to Keith Haring with a three-shoe capsule.

To expressly spell out the link, Keith Haring and Saucony share a hometown, raised in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, where Saucony first set up operations some six decades prior. Almost four decades after his passing, the one-time neighbors come together on a set of silhouettes that showcases the strength of the brand’s catalog, reshaping the throwback runner Progrid Triumph 4, lifestyle Shadow 6000, and the daily trainer Ride 18.

Each shoe gets a heavy dose of pink and blue tones surrounding pure white bases, but all three shoes take a different approach in adapting Haring’s signature characters. The Shadow 6000 depicts them on its heel panel and within translucent traction underfoot, the Progrid Triumph bears a full art panel at the quarter on the lateral side, and the Ride 18 pins that same pattern on its sock-liner.

The Keith Haring x Saucony collection is available now via Saucony.com, with a price breakdown as follows: $145 (Ride 18), $160 (Shadow 6000), and $175 (Progrid Triumph 4).
