Scarlett Johansson is one of the most famous people in Hollywood because of how good an actress she is. She did, however, try her hand at singing for a short time.
The Black Widow star, who is 38 years old, released her first studio album in 2008. It was made over five weeks at Dockside Studios in Maurice, Louisiana.
You can now get the record again on vinyl as part of Record Store Day’s Black Friday 2023 event, which you can do through Just Jared.
Customers will be able to buy the green vinyl addition, which will come with a printed insert and a single-pocket jacket, on November 24.
According to Record Store Day, there are only 2,000 copies of the record available. David Bowie makes a guest appearance on the RSD Exclusive release.
The record, called Anywhere I Lay My Head, was a tribute to Tom Waits because it had six covers of songs by Waits and his wife Kathleen Brennan. Aside from that, the record also had a song called “Song for Jo” that was written by the band.
Its lead hit at the time it came out was the song “Falling Down.”
Also, a lot of her fans don’t know that Johansson used to be a professional singer. “When I was a little kid, I trained as a singer because I really wanted to do musical theatre, but my voice was so deep it was impossible for me to get cast! So, I went into acting instead,” the actress told Candis magazine in the past.
