MONTCALM COUNTY, MI – A driver was injured Friday, Nov. 10, after crashing into the back of a Greenville Public Schools bus, state police said.
No students appeared to have been injured, police said.
The crash happened just before 7 a.m. on County Farm Road near North Backus Road in Montcalm County’s Eureka Township.
A 19-year-old Lyons woman was driving west on County Farm Road when her vehicle crashed into the back of the school bus. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment of injuries.
The students on the bus were put on another bus and taken to school, police said.
State police said that speed and distracted driving could be factors. The crash is under investigation.
