Here’s a timeline of what we know so far about the missing teenagers,
who are believed to have been camping in the Eryri area, also known as
Snowdonia, in north Wales:

Sunday morning – The boys are reported missing.

In a now-deleted post on X, formerly Twitter, North Wales Police said it had
“concerns” for four young males – Jevon Hirst, Harvey Owen, Wilf Henderson and
Hugo Morris.

The force appealed for anyone who’d seen the boys, or their car – a
silver Ford Fiesta, registration HY14 GVO – to get in contact.

Sunday, 12:00 GMT – Harvey Owen’s phone was last used around lunchtime
on Sunday, his mother, Crystal Owen, told the BBC. She said her son left
home on Saturday night.

Sunday, 15:35 – Someone was seen “dragging a tent from high
level ground to a car parked on a hill”, Crystal told
the BBC.

A witness wrote to her on social media that the person was seen in the
Felinheli area, almost 25 miles (40 km) from Porthmadog.

Speaking to the BBC on Tuesday morning, Crystal said she was on her way
to north Wales to help with the search.

Tuesday, 03:00 – The coastguard said its team responded to a
request for assistance from North Wales with a search in the Porthmadog area
shortly before 03:00 on Tuesday. It said a helicopter from Caernarfon
returned to base “with nothing found”.

– Police say that following information from a member of the public,
they had found the vehicle the teenagers were travelling in.
