The Bay Area Council Scouts Honor Sports Lunch was held on Nov. 8 at the Moody Gardens Hotel in Galveston. Jim Ware, president of the Bay Area Council, began the program with a hearty welcome.

Vic Pierson, president and CEO of Moody Bank, spoke to the Scouts about their favorite experiences while being a Scout. Fred Raschke, an Eagle Scout himself, presented U.S. District Judge Jeffrey V. Brown, also an Eagle Scout, with the Distinguished Citizen Award.
