Season 22 of American Idol Will Include Katy Perry’s Comeback as a Judge

Katy Perry will be back as a judge on the next season of American Idol, even though fans of the show have been very critical of her.

Earlier this year, the famous pop star was almost done with her job in the singing competition. According to sources from DailyMail.com, Katy thought that the show’s makers unfairly portrayed her as the “nasty judge,” making her think she was being treated unfairly.

Even though the situation is tough, Katy Perry seems eager to deal with it in a strong way. ABC has officially confirmed that she will be back on the panel with Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie.

Even though there was drama behind the scenes, ABC is calling the next season of American Idol the “lucky seventh season on ABC.”

Katy’s fellow superstar judges, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan, are back as well. Together, they make a strong trio on the judging group.

Insiders say that Katy wanted to help young talent on the popular reality show series, and it must have been frustrating to see that her efforts were misinterpreted.

“For her good intentions to be misinterpreted, it was not what she wanted,” said the insider.

During season 21 of American Idol, several well-known events made fans want Katy to be kicked off the judging panel. Even so, the show chose to give her a second chance for the next season.
