SEATTLE — Electric vehicles and some throwbacks are just a few of the attractions automotive fans can see this weekend at the Lumen Field Event Center in Seattle. The Seattle International Auto Show opens Thursday and runs through Sunday.
Visitors can check out hundreds of the latest cars, trucks, SUVs, crossovers, vans, EVs, hybrids and even some exotic vehicles. Some of the new cars fresh from the factory or being seen in the Pacific Northwest for the first time include the BMW i5, Kia EV 9, Ford Mustang Dark Horse, Honda Prologue and Lexus TX.

EVs are going to have an even bigger footprint at this year’s show with an area called the “Electric Highway” focusing on the newest EVs hitting the market.
You can also test drive the latest EVs from makers like Audi, BMW, Tesla, Ford and Polestar. You can also ride in an EV on an indoor track in vehicles made by KIA, Nissan, Toyota and Volkswagen.
A display called “Life’s a Beach” will have vintage and modern beach cruisers that include woody station wagons, vintage Ford Broncos, dune buggies and a classic VW bus.
Open Road Northwest will give you a close look at ultra-high-end exotic cars from Bentley, McLaren, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce and more.
If you need a road trip companion, swing by “Subaru Loves Pets.” Cute pups from Northwest Boxer Rescue will be available for adoption.
