Following the Golden Globes controversy, Selena Gomez announced yet another social media hiatus.

On Tuesday, Jan. 9, the 31-year-old singer shared a beautiful video of her boyfriend Benny Blanco playing with two toddlers on Instagram Stories, with her laughing in the background.

She added in the caption, “I’m off social for a while. I’m focusing on what really matters.”

Gomez has already proclaimed a hiatus from social media sites in response to a scandal. Instead, she’s done it three times in the past three months.

Most recently, the pop star made headlines when she was caught on camera sharing a secret to her female pal Taylor Swift at the Golden Globes Awards event on Sunday.

Many internet users said she was telling the Lover singer about how Kylie Jenner prohibited her from taking a picture with her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet.

However, in a subsequent Instagram comment on the official E! News account, Gomez explained, “Noooooo I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up.”

Multiple sources confirmed to various outlets that the singer-duo was not discussing anything linked to Jenner or Chalamet.
