The Selma Art Guild will hold a Small Works Show and Sale reception in conjunction with 1st Saturday Selma on Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and Sunday Nov. 3 from 2-4 p.m.
A big variety of artwork will be available from oils, acrylics, watercolor, photography, pottery, drawings, mixed media, fabric art and more. And many artists from Central Alabama will be participating.
Selma Art Guild President Cam Walker Guarino said, “All the works will be reasonably priced.” She also said available will be a few Sally Jordan watercolors and prints of historic Selma landmarks by Rhea Smith, one of the guild’s founding members.
The gallery will continue to be open on Saturdays from 10-2 p.m. or by appointment. The gallery is located at 508 Selma Ave.
Guarino said, “Original art makes wonderful Christmas gifts.”
The Selma Art Guild was founded in the 1970s to promote art and provide opportunities for area artists.
