Serena Williams Reveals Her Second Pregnancy at the Met Gala

On Monday, Serena Williams brought an extra friend to the 2023 Met Gala.

In an Instagram post that showed off their Gala outfits, the tennis star and her tech mogul husband confirmed that they are going to have another child.

She wrote on a post with pictures of her slight baby bump that she was thrilled that Anna Wintour asked the three of them to the Met Gala.

In September 2017, Williams gave birth to a girl named Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.

Williams, who is 41, wore a black Gucci dress to the Gala, which had the theme “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.”

Ohanian was seen placing his hand on Williams’ stomach at their most recent Met Gala appearance.

In December 2016, they got married in Rome. Anna Wintour, the head of Vogue, was there.

Williams quit professional tennis in an honest article she wrote for Vogue in August 2022. She ended her career with a short but inspiring run at the U.S. Open.

Williams wrote, “I’m here to tell you that I’m evolving away from tennis toward other things that are important to me. I quietly started Serena Ventures, a venture capital firm a few years ago. Soon after that, I started a family. I want to grow that family.”

After winning a record 25 singles titles in the Open era, it looks like she and Ohanian have started doing just that.

Williams, who is currently hawking a new memoir, was recently photographed cheering for the Miami Heat, though it looked that even Jimmy Butler’s spectacular Game 4 performance against the Bucks in the first round did not keep the soon-to-be mother of two awake.
