Serendipity Arts Festival, a major initiative by the Foundation, unfolds annually in December in Goa, encompassing a diverse array of arts. Curated by renowned artists and institutional figures, the festival aims to catalyze positive transformations in the Indian arts scene. Covering visual, performing, and culinary arts, the festival incorporates music, dance, visual arts, craft, photography, film, and theatre. Addressing pertinent social issues like arts education, cultural patronage, interdisciplinary discourse, and arts accessibility, the festival engages in an extensive program of exhibitions and performances, complemented by spaces for social and educational interaction.

The 8th edition of the Serendipity Arts Festival is scheduled for December 15-23, 2023, in Goa, with previous editions adapting to digital formats in 2020 and 2021. The festival strategically selects locations along the river Mandovi in Panaji for their historical significance, natural beauty, and artistic affinity. By transforming these venues, the festival aims to create spaces where diverse audiences can encounter the arts in innovative contexts, transforming the Mandovi waterfront into a cultural hub. With its close-knit networks and convenient commuting options, the festival emphasizes accessibility to all.

The first day of the festival promises an enriching experience, featuring conversations with artists and curators of “Time as a Mother,” exploring themes of time. Notable solo performances like “Antigone, Interrupted” delve into dissent in democracy, while “Shakti” offers an abstract representation of feminine energy. The evening crescendos with “An Evening of Serendipity with Zakir Hussain & Friends,” showcasing the rhythmic mastery of tabla maestro Zakir Hussain and a talented ensemble. Additionally, “The Pineapple Orchestra” introduces a unique fusion of bow-activated string instruments, intertwining narratives of colonial history and contemporary perspectives.
