SUDLERSVILLE — Sudlersville Elementary School fourth-grader Savannah Gott is hitting all the right notes as the SES Music Student of the Month. Savannah is part of the first-ever SES fourth-grade band, a groundbreaking initiative spearheaded by SES Music Teacher Windy Broadwater. This program aims to spark an early interest in instrumental music, creating a seamless feeder into Sudlersville Middle School’s Instrumental Music program.

“Ms. Broadwater has done an exceptional job inspiring young musicians,” said Michael Bell, supervisor of Visual and Performing Arts. “Her dedication, from nominating students like Savannah for honors like this, to recognizing them as ‘in-house’ Musicians of the Month at SES, showcases her commitment to her students and their growth.”
