The Seton Hall University Arts Council has renewed its partnership with the South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC).
This year marks the eighteenth season of the partnership that allows the Arts Council
to use SOPAC’s state of the art, 439-seat mainstage theater to present programs like
the Jazz ‘n the Hall and Classical Concert Series’ and the Arts Council’s annual Winter
Orchestra and Choral Concert, which will be held this year on December 8th at 7:30 p.m. The Arts Council also presents their annual Spring Orchestra and Choral Concert and
their annual Spring Musical at SOPAC. This spring, the Arts Council will present the
musical Bright Star from April 18th to the 21st. The performances on Thursday through Saturday will be
held at 8 p.m., and the Sunday performance will be held at 2 p.m. This partnership
helps to foster the connections Seton Hall students make through programs like Jazz
‘n the Hall and the Classical Concert Series, which provide students with opportunities
to perform alongside professionals in a professional environment.

The programming presented by the Seton Hall University Arts Council at SOPAC is selected
following the standards of the Arts Council’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion cultural
programming theme of ‘Voices & Visibility’, which aims to feature work from and about
groups that have been otherwise historically underrepresented. The events are also
presented free of charge and are open to the public.

The Seton Hall Arts Council looks forward to seeing you at upcoming events at SOPAC!
