Seventeen Breaks the Record for the Most Successful K-Pop Album Ever

With their new album FML, K-pop band Seventeen broke the record for the best-selling K-pop album. In just one week, they were able to sell more than 4.5 million copies of the record.

On April 24, they released their tenth mini album, and within a few days, they made history in the K-pop world. FML was the first record ever released by Hanteo to sell more than 3 million copies on its first day.

They also said that about 4,550,214 copies of the record were sold in the first week. If that wasn’t enough, they now also hold the record for the highest total sales of any album, which BTS previously held with their album Map of the Soul: 7, which sold approximately 3.3 million copies in its first week and 4.2 million copies overall.
