Shakira’s relationship with NBA star Jimmy Butler, who is 13 years younger than her, shows that she has no problem dating younger guys.

A source told Us Weekly that the 46-year-old singer of “Beautiful Liar” doesn’t care that the 33-year-old player is younger than her. She loves spending time with him.

The Colombian singer has been tied to Tom Cruise, Lewis Hamilton, and now the basketball player since she broke up with her partner of 12 years, Gerard Pique.

An insider told the magazine that it’s too soon to tell if their rumored relationship is serious or just a fling.

Shakira and Butler were seen having dinner at the Novikov Restaurant & Bar in London this week. This led to rumors that they were dating.

The source said about their relationship, “They have been out a few times, but things are very new and it’s too early to tell if there’s long-term potential there.”

The insider also said that the 13-year age gap between them and Shakira’s ex-boyfriend, who was 10 years younger than her, “doesn’t bother her at all.”

“Jimmy makes Shakira smile, and she feels happy spending time with him,” said the source.

Sasha and Milan, Shakira and Pique’s kids, are said to have been fans of Butler for a long time, but he just met their mother recently.
