Shameik Moore finally talked about his first role in the live-action film Miles Morales.
The Hook says that Moore gave the superhero’s voice in the cartoon Spider-Verse movies Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, both made by Sony.
Moore told the magazine, “I can’t really say much else. I think whoever gets the opportunity to play Miles Morales has a large responsibility on their shoulders.”
“I think people would expect an iconic performance to follow these three films,” he said.
In 2024, the last movie in the series, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, will have the actor voice Morales again.
Some fans said Moore shouldn’t play Morales because the character is a high school student in his teens, and Moore is 28.
Moore fought back against abuse and said, “I didn’t realise y’all were haters like this lol.”
It’s worth mentioning that Across the Spider-Verse has been a box office success since its release.
