One of the Midlands’ biggest holiday events starts Thursday, Nov. 30 when the Junior League of Columbia Holiday Market opens its doors at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds. The four-day annual event runs through Sunday, Dec. 3 in the Cantey and Goodman buildings at 1200 Rosewood Drive in Columbia.
Shoppers can browse booths of seasonal and year-round merchandise from nearly 170 vendors offering clothing, jewelry, home décor, kitchen gear, yard ornaments, holiday decorations, edibles and more. Food and beverages also will be available for purchase during market hours.

The Holiday Market raises more than $260,000 each year for the Junior League, which trains women leaders to create lasting community change, with an emphasis on strengthening the health and well-being of children and families in the Midlands.
