NEW YORK (PIX11) – Struggling to get a REAL ID appointment in New York? Just head to the New York International Auto Show starting on Friday.

A mobile office at the event will process REAL ID and Enhanced ID applications, according to the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. The auto show is being held through April 27 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in Manhattan.

Anyone interested in getting a REALID can visit the DMV at booth number NC 1, Second Level, North Concourse. Travelers flying within the U.S. will be required to have a REAL ID starting on May 7.

Passports can also be used to fly domestically if you aren’t able to get a REAL ID by the deadline.
