Simu Liu Addresses the Rumors Surrounding His Feud with Ryan Gosling

Simu Liu recently spoke out about Ryan Gosling feud rumors at the opening of Barbie.

Liu, who plays a version of Ken in Greta Gerwig’s hit movie, shared a picture of himself and Gosling on Instagram Story on July 26. They were at a press day in Canada last month.

Earlier that day, a film of Liu putting his arm around Gosling’s waist while they posed for the camera was posted online.

The star of The Notebook could be seen telling Liu, “Don’t hold me there, man. I mean, do you want me to touch you like that?”

Liu replied, “Oh, it’s too tender? Fair enough.”

People thought that the two stars don’t like each other after the video went viral on social media.

But Liu finally stepped in and shared a picture from the same event on the app.

Liu wrote in the photo’s description, “I’d beach off with this Kenadian again in a heartbeat.”

Liu said of Gosling, “He is the best human in every way, especially when he jokes around with us on the carpet and on set, infecting all of us with his Kenergy.”

Liu finished by saying, “Now let’s get back to the issues that matter, like supporting our striking actors and writers fighting for fair wages!”
