SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Five business ideas have been named finalists for the 14th annual Innovation Market.

Siouxland Growth Organization revealed the following list of proposed business concepts:

• Interactive Museum
• Orbit Creator Space
• Sizzle & Syrup
• Wander Wagon
• Worthlivin Wines

The big reveal was hosted at Badgerow Flats in downtown Sioux City. Judges selected the finalists from a pool of 13 business ideas submitted for this year’s event.

“I actually already talked to a gal and she came up to me and she was like ‘I didn’t know this existed, I’m so excited, I’m going to apply next year,’” Innovation Market chair Marisa Grove said. “I think that’s a great example of this, builds momentum in our community and lets people know that we’re here and we support your business ideas.”

The five finalists will be presenting their ideas and business plans on pitch night, which is June 27. They’re competing for the grand prize of $5,000. The second place prize is $2,500, and third is set at $1,000.
