SISKIYOU COUNTY, Calif. — The Siskiyou County Public Health Department is continuing its “Wellness on Wheels” (WOW) mobile clinic service for the month of April.
WOW provides free health services to people throughout Siskiyou County who struggle to access basic healthcare. Services provided include blood pressure checks, blood glucose checks, pre-diabetes risk screening, basic wound care, personalized health plans and self-collect testing.
Patients are served on a drop-in basis with no appointment needed.
WOW’s dates and locations for April are:
- Monday, Apr. 8th – Siskiyou County Library in Yreka (10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.)
- Tuesday, Apr. 9th – McCloud Resource Center in McCloud (10 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
- Monday, Apr. 22nd – Six Stones Wellness Center in Yreka (10 a.m. – 1 p.m.)
- Tuesday, Apr. 30th – Scott Valley Berean Church in Etna (11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.)
