SMITHFIELD – Nana Grace of Smithfield’s Rhode Island DoReMi Music Academy has trained many students in piano and vocals over the years, but her students’ latest trip to New York for the Carnegie Hall International Competition proved a high point with seven winners in the music competition.

Grace said students audition to showcase their “exceptional musical prowess” in this prestigious location. Seven DoReMi students placed in the competition under Grace’s instruction.
