Song Joong Ki is set to make a cameo appearance in the upcoming drama Queen of Tears, tvN said on Friday, February 23.

According to multiple media sites, the Vincenzo actor will make a guest appearance in tvN’s original drama.

Details about his role are yet unknown, and the decision has not to be officially revealed by the network.

However, the actor is believed to have finished filming for his special cameo in the series.

The South Korean actor opted to take on the role in Queen of Tears to support his labelmate Kim Ji Won.

The two previously appeared together in the KBS2 dramas Descendants of the Sun and Arthdal Chronicles.

The actor became famous for his roles in Descendants of the Sun, Reborn Ruch, and Little Women, among others.

Fans are ecstatic at the unveiling of the upcoming drama’s star-studded cast.

A fan expressed their enthusiasm on social media, adding, “hurry up and show me I’m a patient person.”

Queen of Tears, starring Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won, will premiere on March 9 at 9:10 p.m. (KST).
