A restraining order has been issued against Sofa Vergara’s alleged stalker.
The 51-year-old Modern Family alum obtained a restraining order against a man named Gregory Brown for stalking her and her son, Manolo, 32.
Vergara alleged in court filings obtained by TMZ that Brown is a “mentally unstable stalker” who has “a delusional belief he personally knows her and has a friendship with her and her family.”
Brown has been relentless in his pursuit despite being arrested earlier this year for trespassing and destruction at Vergara’s home.
Brown not only allegedly gained unauthorized entry into her gated enclave by hiking over the surrounding hills, but he also sent Vergara a love letter in November, telling her that he would “be seeing and hearing her very soon, my love.”
The America’s Got Talent judge also claimed Brown had a criminal record, pleading that his “aggressive and harassing conduct” has made her fearful for her safety as she navigates her protracted divorce from Joe Manganiello.
As a result, Vergara and her son were granted a temporary restraining order requiring Brown to stay at least 100 yards away from the two of them and not to call them.
