It is the time of year to get out and enjoy the special sounds of the season. The Payson Choral Society plans two holiday concerts, while there are three performances scheduled for the Christmas portion of Handel’s Messiah by a group of community singers and musicians.

The Payson Choral Society’s Christmas presentation of “It’s the Most Wonderful Time!” comes to the Payson High School auditorium, 301 S. McLane Rd., Saturday, Dec. 9 and Sunday, Dec. 10. Performances are scheduled at 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9 and at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 10.
