COLUMBIA — South Carolina women’s basketball is back home at Colonial Life Arena after a two-game road trip to host Morgan State.

The No. 1 Gamecocks (7-0) escaped back-and-forth games against North Carolina and Duke with wins last week. They look to remain undefeated against the Bears (3-5) on Wednesday (7 p.m., SEC Network+). South Carolina can also extend its program-record 46-game home winning streak that dates back to Dec. 17, 2020.

This is the first meeting in program history against Morgan State, and the Gamecocks are the first Power 5 opponent the Bears will face this season. South Carolina has not lost to an unranked team since Missouri in 2021-22, and the Gamecocks are averaging a 61-point margin of victory against mid-major opponents in 2023-24.
