WINSTON, Ore. — Wildlife Safari has been hosting a variety of events this month to not only bring awareness to their animals but to bring the community closer together.
Boos and Brews was their most recent event bringing in older audiences to experience a spooky atmosphere with their wildlife.
Now, the Safari is setting up for their Zoobilee event targeting younger audiences for a night of animal surprises and trick-or-treating.
According to Village Supervisor Rachael Mohlman, this gives them a chance to show off the Safari’s animals and how they’re taken care of.
“This year, we’re going to have a bigger section of our Asia open as well, and then the games that we will be providing with our education department are going to be brand new, we didn’t have those last year and it will be a lot of fun,” said Mohlman.
Families can experience games, activities, education booths, and special Halloween themed animal enrichment activities.
This year’s Zoobilee takes place on October 20 and 21, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
