Special K Releases a New Flavor of Cereal Perfect for Summer originally appeared on Parade.

When it comes to popular cereals, few have had the same level of success as Special K!

Although a lot of fans stick to the original, there’s no denying that they’ve come out with some pretty tasty flavors over the years. Popular picks include Red Berries, Vanilla Almond, Chocolatey Delight, and Fruit & Yogurt, while limited-edition releases like Pumpkin Spice, Maple Brown Sugar Crunch, and Cinnamon Apple offer seasonal variety. Other flavors have included Cranberry Almond, Strawberries & Chocolate, and Raspberry.

Most recently, Special K dropped a new Peaches & Créme flavor just in time for summer. Taking to Instagram, Kayla Simonsen, who goes by @the_cerealqueen, described her experience with the yummy treat.

“Well now that the strawberry rush has subsided, it seems ‘peach’ is the fruit of the season! So many peach products are rolling out, but in terms of cereal this is the only one at the moment at least. RIP Peach Cheerios (2018) and Peach Mango Cheerios (2023) from previous years,” she began.

“There’s a ‘Peach and Apricot’ Special K available in other countries. A ‘Peaches and Berries Probiotic’ (2016) cereal used to exist. Both of those have/had dried pieces of fruits. The NEW ‘Peaches & Crème’ Special K ditches the fruit and instead the flakes are flavored as peach, paired with vanilla yogurt clusters,” she continued.

“I’m not sure if these are a limited edition or not. The box doesn’t state it is, but we will see how long they last. Found @target! What do you think of this flavor? Are you going to try them? I’ll be trying them eventually.”

“I think it sounds fantastic! I would try for sure!” one user commented. “That sounds like a great flavor! I’d give it a try,” added another. “Looks amazing,” a third user wrote, while a fourth chimed in, “I love the sound of these.”
