FINDLAY, OH (WLIO) – Exciting news for the Marathon Center for Performing Arts Center in Findlay.
Spectrum today announced that the Performing Arts Center will receive $10,000 dollars through the 2024-25 Stand for the Arts Awards in partnership with Ovation TV. The award recognizes local arts, and all cultural and educational programs. Since the initiative started back in 2017, Ovation TV and Spectrum have given out 80 awards totaling $800,000 dollars towards education in art.

“We’ve been able to recognize organizations all across the country and many right here in Ohio, and so we’re really pleased that this will be the first organization in the Toledo market that we’ve been able to honor with the stand for the Arts Award and the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts here in Findlay,” told Brian Young, Spectrum Director of Government Affairs.
Ovation TV SVP of Marketing & Communication, Sol Doten added, “I think supporting local arts and local communities is paramount, particularly to the development of kids, but through all ages and participation in the arts. We like to support organizations that are doing as much as they can to create equal and oftentimes free access to the arts.”
The Marathon Center for Performing Arts will use the award to support their programmatic and artistic efforts.
