Spokane Watercolor Society to host national show at The MAC


SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Watercolor Society is set to showcase its 2025 National Juried Show at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture (The MAC) from April 3 through May 4, 2025. The exhibition will be held in the Helen South Alexander Gallery, located at 2316 W. 1st Avenue.

The show will feature 30 paintings selected from entries across the nation. Award-winning artist Michael Holter will jury the event. Holter, known for his work in watercolor and oil, will choose the winners for awards totaling over $2,000 in cash and sponsored gifts.

An awards reception is scheduled for Sunday, April 13, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at The MAC. Admission to the gallery annex is free, making it an accessible outing for families and friends.

The Spokane Watercolor Society, founded in 1954, aims to support the growth of watercolor artists and promote watercolor art. The show promises to be an inspiring event for art lovers and the community alike.
