SPOKANE, Wash. — SpokAnimal has been closed for several weeks due to a disease sickening the dogs at the animal shelter.
Dori Peck, executive director of SpokAnimal, said of the 51 dogs currently at the animal shelter, 30 of them are sick with a highly contagious respiratory disease.
