Golf fans wanting the PGA Tour experience got to live it through Golf+. Players visited virtual reality versions of famed links from their homes via Meta Quest headsets. Golf+, the official VR game of the tour, launched a VR FedExCup Playoffs in 2023, offering a similar qualifying experience to the pros as they navigated knockout play through the Tour Championship.

NBA Space made various league events more active experiences for attendees. Backboned by Fabric’s geospatial web platform, app users could compete against one another for points and prizes through a variety of gamified experiences. In 2023, the activation supported NBA Drop Zone Instant Win, NBA All-Star Rewards Program and the NBA Draft Challenge.

The first-person NFL experience in VR simulation form became the fastest-selling VR sports title on the Meta Quest platform. Created by StatusPro, the latest version, NFL Pro Era II, introduced multiplayer mode and mini games to continue challenging football-slinging fans of the game.

Stadium AR isn’t about an individual AR experience: It’s about a shared experience for all. Features like towering player avatars pumping up the crowd at midfield or gamified experiences — like hitting a target — with thousands of others made communal moments for MLB, NBA, and NFL fans. ARound also supported the action with play-by-plays, stat visualizations and replays.
