Spring into Erie entertainment with these art, music, more shows in April, May and June

Art, comedy, music and more are ahead for Erie audiences as area galleries and stages welcome a variety of shows and entertainers.

From April through June, multiple venues around the region will host performances for all ages.

Here is a list of just some of what you can see and hear through spring and the first days of summer. You can find even more to do on the GoErie.com calendar.

April

Spring Show opening and Art After Dark: April 3, 6-8 p.m., Erie Art Museum, 20 E. Fifth St. Juried art exhibition open to artists living, working or studying within 250 miles of Erie opens during April Art After Dark event; show continues through Aug. 8. Regular hours are Wednesdays through Fridays, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Sundays, 1-6 p.m. $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students, free for ages 16 and younger and museum members.

Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy: April 3-5, 6 and 8 p.m., and April 5, 4 p.m., 1020 Collective, 1020 Holland St. Poe stories and related cocktails; must be 21 or older. $45.
