POLK COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) – A woman from Springfield has died after a single-car crash Friday afternoon in Polk County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, 57-year-old Tammy Combs was driving her Chevrolet Impala on Missouri Highway 13 near Bolivar around 1:40 p.m.

The crash happened when her car went off the road and overturned. Combs was taken to a hospital in Bolivar, where she later died.

This marks MSHP Troop D’s 123rd fatal crash in 2023.
