‘Squid Game’ Contestants Threaten To Sue Netflix Over Injuries

Contestants from ‘Squid Game: The Challenge; are threatening legal action against Netflix and Studio Lambert, the show’s co-producer. The lawsuit threat is over claims that they suffered injuries during filming. Two contestants, represented by British law firm Express Solicitors, allege hypothermia and nerve damage while shooting in cold conditions in the UK. The injuries reportedly occurred during the filming of the show’s opening game, ‘Red Light, Green Light,’ at Cardington Studios. “Contestants thought they were taking part in something fun and those injured did not expect to suffer as they did. Now they have been left with injuries after spending time being stuck in painful stress positions in cold temperatures”, Daniel Slade, CEO of Express Solicitors said. Netflix confirmed that three of the 456 players required medical attention during the cold snap but denied the existence of a lawsuit
