St. Mary’s English High School hosts KG Parents Night with environmental conservation message


Jamshedpur, January 30: St. Mary’s English High School organized KG Parents Night in its auditorium, centered around the theme “Our Wonderland.” The event was inaugurated by Father Alwin, Vicar General of the Jamshedpur Diocese, who lit the ceremonial lamp as the chief guest.

Welcoming the guests, Father Vernon D’Souza, Principal of the school, emphasized the significance of such programs in a child’s development. Father Jeyaraj, the school’s manager, attended as the special guest.

The young students delivered an impressive performance highlighting the beauty of nature, which they described as “God’s precious creation.” The event aimed to spread awareness about the degradation of the environment due to rapid development. Through their acts, the children conveyed a strong message about the urgent need to protect nature, warning that if destruction continues, future generations will be at risk. Their performances reinforced the idea that the earth is a wonderland, and collective efforts can help restore and preserve its beauty.

At the conclusion of the program, Father Vernon D’Souza urged students, parents, and teachers to actively work towards the message delivered by the children and take meaningful steps to combat pollution.

The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Vice Principal Father Petrus Guria, Sister Eliza Joseph, Sister Pushpa, along with teachers and other dignitaries. The colorful evening concluded with the school song followed by the national anthem.
