Stassi Schroeder Explains Why She Will Not Join the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Spinoff

Stassi Schroeder, a Vanderpump Rules alum, declined the option to appear in the spin-off reality series The Valley.

Schroeder, 35, spoke on SiriusXM’s radio show Wednesday and informed host Jeff Lewis that it is not the Network’s fault that she will not be filming after Lewis expressed displeasure.

“Once this idea was brought up, they were like, ‘OK, we’re going to film a sizzle with all the people on it.’ Every fibre of my being voted no,” she admitted openly.

A sizzle reel is a short montage of footage intended to offer executives an idea of what to expect from the show.

Schroeder was one of the original cast members of Vanderump Rules when it debuted in 2013, and she remained with the hit show for eight seasons.

When Lewis inquired why she didn’t want to return, Schroeder stated she had “a lot of different reasons.”

“First of all,” the former Sur server continued, “it wouldn’t be a reflection of what my reality is.”

She went on to say, “I’m friendly with some of them, I’m acquaintances with some of them. And some of the new ones, too, that I think are lovely. But it’s not my crew.”

Schroeder also stated that she does not want to be forced to do things she would not ordinarily do. I don’t want to interrupt my current life because I enjoy it.

She and Kristen Doute were expelled from the show in 2020 after falsely accusing their castmate Faith Stowers of a crime she did not commit.
